Howdy Friends,

Celebrate Bandera is just around the corner and we invite you to join in the fun. One of the major highlights is the Texas Longhorn cattle drive to Bandera on Saturday morning that proceeds down Main Street and is followed by THE Celebrate Bandera parade.

This year’s parade focus will be on honoring Bandera County and the Cowboy Capital of the World!

Everyone is invited to have an entry in the parade. There is no charge to enter. The parade is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2008. We hope you can make it! Click on the PARADE RULES AND APPLICATION above for more information. About a week prior to the parade all entries will be contacted with detailed line-up information.

In addition to the cattle drive and parade, Bandera will be busting at the seams with activities and entertainment. The courthouse square will be filled with an arts and crafts fair and City Park features entertainment and historical re-enactors and Mansfield Park hosts an Indian Pow Wow. For information on al Celebrate Bandera events, click on EVENTS. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 800-364-3833 or 830-796-3045.

Happy Trails for Now,
