This event is what our tourist are looking for when they come to town!” Owners Bob and Gail Click Bandera General Store PLANS FOR CELEBRATE BANDERA 2008The reason so many business owners reported their best weekend ever was because so many business owners got behind Celebrate Bandera and supported it with their investment of time, energy and cash. In fact, we received so much support that we were able to continue to offer all of the river and downtown events absolutely free. And because of that we had more people in town than Bandera has seen in a long time. This year we want to do the same thing: to offer every event—except the concerts and the Bull Riding Challenge—at no cost to our guests. We can only do that if we have enough sponsor support. Please consider this letter your invitation to participate in Celebrate Bandera 2008. We hope to bring even larger crowds this year with added attractions, and expanded venues. And what about the Cowboy? Well, this year we again celebrate the Kings of Western Swing. The music that made Bandera famous will be featured in THE KINGS OF WESTERN SWING concert series. Featured "Kings" will be legends to be announced soon and there will be Kings at virtually every venue in town.. Two Step till you drop. Wow, What an event this will be! Added highlight will be the National Professional Bull Rider Challenge! Two nights of the “hottest eight seconds of the year!” Saturday performance at Mansfield Park will be followed by finals on Sunday.
